Hello my darlings! Aimee here with a new project to show you... Hope you're in the mood for butterflies!
Today's project is a tag ad features two new Enamel Powder colors- Girl's Night Out (shown on the butterfly above) and Enchanted Aubergine. Both are awesome but I have to say, I'm in love with Girl's Night Out!!
So gather up some goodies:
Tag, card, whatever ya want to work on, patterned paper, adhesive, inks, sprays (I used Smooch Spritz), white acrylic paint or gesso, heat gun, embellishments, quote sticker, stencil or stamp.
Piccolos butterflies in two sizes, Enamel Adhesive Fluid, enamel powders (Girl's Night Out & Enchanted Aubergine), Metallic Copper Enamel Gel.
Get your tag out and start coloring the surface, I used a few Distress inks & Smooch Spritz. Be sure to dry with your heat tool.
Add some patterned paper and more ink.
Use a stencil and ink/spray your tag with a few different colors (or use a background stamp).
Cool, huh!!
Repeat using Enamel Adhesive Fluid and Girl's Night Out powder. Heat that baby up!
Now coat one large butterfly with Girl's Night Out, and toe smaller butterflies with Enchanted Aubergine. Add some card stock behind the large butterfly and trim.
Now use your finger and lightly edge the tag with acrylic paint or gesso. Slap some in the lower right corner and add your quote over it. Now embellish! :)
Add butterflies as shown and for the Copper Enamel Gel on the tag. Set aside to dry and there ya go.
