Today, Steph Ackerman shares a card created with Xyron's Sticker Maker and Glue Stick:

Good morning, Steph here and I wanted to share this quick and easy card today. It's easy to create stunning cards when using Globecraft Memories products and Xyron adhesive.

Starting with black cardstock, I cut it to a 4 1/2" square to fit my 5" card base. I stamped the sentiment with embossing ink, added Mermaid Tears and then heat set. I love the shimmery look I was able to achieve.

I stamped, colored, and die cut the rose.  Before adhering it to the card, I added a light coat of Glastique which gave the rose a nice dimensional effect and since I used a light coat, it dried fairly quickly.  I used Xyron adhesive to adhere the rose to the card.  Xyron adhesive, while permanent, does allow you some time to reposition your items.  I was able to move the rose several times until I was happy with it's final spot on the card.

To emphasize the sentiment, I scored 1/2" around the panel.  Finally, I just wanted a hint of color around the card so I swiped embossing ink around the edges, added Mermaid Tears and heat set.  Using the Xyron Glue Stick I adhered the black panel to the card base.

    And, what's a hop without a giveaway??!!

    Paying homage to good friends

    Happy Saturday to you all!

It's Linda with another Globecraft Ornament! I'll tell you, these things are so addicting. I am having so much fun creating these little ornaments that I call Victorian Gewgaws. Yes, it really is a word - look it up!

For this ornament I used the new Globecraft Memories Horizontal Blank Ornament along with our Piccolo Enamels. I love the finished results!

    Here's how it's done:

Brush the inside back of your globe with a thin coat of Globecraft Memories Glossy Glastique and sprinkle on some glitter. I used Art Glitter Vintage Glass Glitter no. 623, Rose Bud. It's a beautiful pinky-purple color.

The clip art is from Crafty Secrets and I simply fussy-cut around the image till it fit the inside of my globe. I like to add a tiny amount of dried moss to help hold the image up and keep it dimensional. I cut the phrase to fit so that it has a slight curve and glue it in place at the very tips.
My intent for this one was originally was to dry emboss the outer frames and then paint them with acrylic paint.
It  was okay but it didn't really fit with the glittered back - it needed a tad more bling! I immediately went to our Enchanted Aubergine Piccolo Enamel Powder. I love the texture I was able to achieve because of the dry embossing but also because when adding two-to-three layers of Enchanted Aubergine you can create even more texture! Look at all that juicy goodness!
The next step is assembly. Follow the package instructions for easy assembly. I like to secure mine with clothespins or binder clips while the glue sets up.
It takes but a few minutes for it to set and then I like to add beads to a jewelry wire for hanging. I'm not a beader and my wire finishes leave a whole lot to be desired so I always hide it under a big pretty ribbon bow! Love the way this one turned out and how the light filters through the glittered back. How about you?
Hop on over to my blog for even more creative ideas!

     Directions
Start with a piece of 9"X6" royal blue card stock.
Cut a piece of 8.5"X 5.5" piece of burnt sienna piece of card stock.
Adhere the burnt sienna piece of card stock to the royal blue piece of card stock.

Cut a piece of 3.5"X 4.0" piece of royal blue card stock.
Ink a large pattern stamp with embossing ink. Stamp onto the blue card stock. Immediately after stamping the image, sprinkle Piccolo Gilded Rose Metallic Enamel Powder over the stamped image and emboss the image.  When cool adhere the embossed image to the upper middle part of card.

                                                                              Next step
Cut a piece of 3"X 2" piece of burnt sienna card stock and adhere to the embossed blue square. Tear one edge of the burnt sienna paper. Stamp a sentiment on the piece of torn burnt sienna paper. Distress the edges of the card stock with dark blue ink and adhere to the lower middle part of card.

Cut a 3"X3"piece of royal blue card stock. Ink a large butterfly stamp with embossing ink. Stamp onto blue card stock. Immediately after stamping the image, sprinkle Piccolo Gilded Rose Metallic Enamel Powder over the stamped image and emboss the image. Mat the butterfly image with a piece of blue card stock. Adhere the matted image to the front of the card. I turned the card to the side to show how the Gilded Rose shines...beautiful.

Carefully remove a butterfly from the Birds and Butterflies and Flourishes Card Decor and More. Apply a coat of the Piccolo Embossing Powder Adhesive to the front of the Piccolo Butterfly Card Decor and More Chipboard. Immediately after applying the adhesive, sprinkle Gilded Rose Enamel Powder over the entire surface of the butterfly and emboss with a heat tool. When cool adhere to lower right of card.

Fold the card in half and score the middle of the paper using a scoring board. Distress the left side of the card with dark blue ink.

    Love Card

Good morning, Steph here with a quick and easy way to incorporate Piccolo charms in a project.

Piccolo charms can be used for all types of projects from jewelry to embellishments.  I decided to use the heart charm from Heart Charms H001 set as an embellishment on a wedding card.  I gently poked out the word from the heart charm and set it aside to use on another project.  Using Enamel Powder Adhesive, I coated the heart charm, then added Enchanted Aubergine  and Brownstone powders on top.  Once heat set,  I added several light coats of Glastique. This made the heart a little stronger as well as giving it a nice glossy effect.

After completing my card, I just tied the charm onto the bow.

The charm was just the perfect finishing touch for this card.  Just remember, the charms may be small but they do pack a big punch for all your crafty endeavors.

    Thanks for stopping by today.

    This greeting card stands strong!

Greetings! Linda here with my very first attempt at using our Easel Greetings. I've decided I rather like these cute little greetings. They're pretty versatile as to what you can do with them and I have ideas for more still floating around in my head.

The Easel Greetings come five to a pack so you can make several at a time, and they fit inside a standard A2 envelope for easy mailing.

I started by embossing the front of my Easel Greetings with Paisley, a M-Bossabilities folder from Spellbinders. The front of my Easel Greetings easily fit inside the folder for running through the Vagabond. I inked it with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and spritzed it with a mixture made from Heirloom Gold Perfect Pearls and water in a mister. I love the fact that the Easel Greeting is heavy duty enough to stand up to embossing and spritzing. After using a heat tool to speed up drying, I went around the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

I really wanted to add layers to the card so cut a scallop rectangle from Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Rectangles Large then used my paper trimmer to cut a smaller rectangle to fit inside it. I also added a pretty edge cut from the Sizzix Alterations die Distressed Doily.

All those pieces were inked with Vintage Photo Distress Ink as well and the edges of the inner rectangle and the stamped sentiment piece were further distressed with an edge distressor. The Distressed Doily and the stamped sentiment were also spritzed with the homemade Perfect Pearls mist then I stitched the scalloped mat and inner mat on the sewing machine and left the threads dangling to add to the Vintage look.

The card needed some movement so I pulled the Piccolo Butterfly Flurry No.12 from my stash. I love these butterflies! They come in various sizes on the card and the little flourish with them is just so cute!

I dabbed some Piccolo Enamel Powder Adhesive on the three butterflies I selected to use and sprinkled them with Vintage Gold Enamel Powder then heat set. There are two coats of Vintage Gold Enamel on the butterflies and flourish. I heated the three butterflies briefly -just enough to melt the enamel so it works like a glue - and sprinkled on some Pure Gold Sparkle Glitter. The Pure Gold Sparkle Glitter is so, so pretty and gives so much dimension to the project. I added some antennae to the large butterfly by bending some wire then added two thin coats of Glossy Glastique to all the butterflies, allowing each coat to dry in-between.

Once the Glossy Glastique dried all that was left was the assembly and the addition of a few pearls and a pretty bow. This beautiful card is all set to send on its way!
